Summary

http://thesituationist.wordpress.com/2008/11/16/why-torture-because-it-feels-good-at-least-to-us/
This essay goes into depth and really tries to explain the psychology behind torturing.  Along with defending the human device of torture, it ties in the concept of torture with the thought process of criminal punishment through jail or other consequences.

The essay then continues and says that when all else fails, individuals use "Blame the victim" as their way to back up torture.  This states that if an individual is being tortured then they deserve it.  In essence the paragraph never states whether torture is good or bad, it just states how humans justifies it.
